Text: Deuteronomy 28:12

Exhorter: Sister Elizabeth Logan

Deuteronomy 28:12 NIV
“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”
Deuteronomy 30:9-10 NIV
“Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers, if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
The Bible is full of God's promises and reminders of God's faithfulness. When things get hard, it's easy to focus on yourself and your hardships.
The Chosen messenger through the life of Sister Elizabeth Logan taught us these three (3) amazing promises of God when we obey.
Firstly, Open heaven. This can be described as an undisturbed manifestation of God's own existence and glory on all of heaven on earth. The laws of nature can be temporarily or permanently invalidated when the sky falls. Signs and wonders, miracles and healings, revelations and anomalous manifestations of power can occur. To varying degrees, poverty, illness, illness, and human decline are pushed back by God's overwhelming love and power. The least likely is to be swept into the kingdom of God, which can often bring great financial salvation to God's work. When we seek from the Lord, HE gives. When we seek healing HE will give us the power of the Holy Spirit. We can experience miracle healings, wealth and other blessings. Open Heaven is a season of blessings as in Isaiah 64:1 says,
[a]Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you!
Also, He will bless all the works of our hands. In Colossians 3:23-24, it says
“23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving”.
The blood of Jesus redeemed us. If we do things in God's way, God will bless the work of our hands and make us very fruitful and prosperous. Whether we are a ministry or in a job, caring for a family, or helping a ministry, God wants us to work wisely and well. Then he can bless us. If you don't work, God has nothing to bless! Some people think that living in the ministry by faith means sitting at home and doing nothing. On the contrary, the ministry is a job and there are many, but it is certainly a joy and a blessing.
Whatever you do, do as much as you can. God does not expect you to do what you cannot do, but you do expect you to do what you can. Your best may not be the same as someone else's best, but that's it. God wants your best. As long as you work as hard as you can and do everything you can really do, God will not get angry with you if you fail. Even if the salary at the end of is from a man, God should work as if he were his boss. You should work as if your rewards come from God, not from others.
Another amazing promise of God is that He will make us a lender and not a borrower. In Deuteronomy 28:12 it says;
“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”
But Jesus paid the price to break the curse and now gives us a light constriction and a light burden. Deuteronomy 28: 12-13 explains that the Lord will send rain (the supplies needed for the day's work) to bless all the work you do. You are appointed as a lender, not a borrower, but ahead, not a tail. God has commanded you to be above and never below. My friend, does this explain your life? Take your faith to the next level today and believe that these promises are given to you through Christ. The Bible says something is commanded, and it should be established. Let's do the same.
God bless His words and His messenger through the life of Sister Elizabeth Logan. God bless the readers, listeners and doers of His words.
